About Donna

I'm so glad you found your way to this little shop. Let me introduce myself.

After 30 years in corporate America's legal field, I accepted early retirement in June 2021 to pursue my true calling — helping people know Jesus through His Word. Best decision I ever made.

Today I serve full-time through Artesian Ministries, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to biblical literacy and spiritual growth. I write and teach Bible studies that make Scripture come alive. Why? Because I believe that God's Word is living, active, and has something to say to you right now.

My study on Joshua, Strong and Courageous, received the 2025 Christian Market Bible Study Book of the Year award. I have written thirteen full-length Bible studies. Eight of my LWML Bible studies are available in large print and braille through Lutheran Braille Worker. Those same studies have been translated into German, Russian, and Ukrainian for believers and missionaries worldwide.

When I'm not writing, you might find me leading an immersive teaching tour — walking where Jesus walked in the Holy Land, tracing Paul's journeys through Greece and Rome, or following the footsteps of Martin Luther through Germany and Scotland.

I'm a lifelong Texan, adventurous traveler, and dabbling gardener — but home is always my favorite place to be.

Rooted together in Him, Donna
